Killing Jar
A stranger armed with a shotgun takes seven patrons hostage in a remote roadside diner. But as the body count increases, the desperate survivors discover that one of the hostages may be even more dangerous than their captor.
Kevin Gage plays a truck driver who is a regular customer. Several Amazon reviews of the film mention his performance:
“The performances in the film range from adequate to not particularly good. Character actor Kevin Gage, as the trucker, is the only one I believed start to finish.”
“Killing, gore and Kevin Gage. It only gets better with beer: This had its good moments. The graphic killing is great if you are up for a gore in a movie and the performances by the cast were above most of the flicks of this genre. Kevin Gage has a big role and he always gives an intelligent performance. Go with this flick if you are a fan of graphic killing or Kevin Gage.”
“Gage is believably tough and commonsensically intelligent, at least compared to the other locals.”
“I was also very pleased that the actor who played the evil sadistic Wayne Grow [Waingro] in Michael Mann’s ‘Heat’ was on board as a good guy this time around, and I must say his acting was very good as well. Here he plays a tough guy with some real heart.”
